Sherry-Sauteed Broccoli With Walnuts & Fresh Oregano

2 Tbs dry sherry
1 Tbs extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
4 cups chopped broccoli
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 tsp minced fresh oregano
1/8 tsp salt
several grinds black pepper

1)  Heat the sherry, olive oil, and garlic in a wok or saute pan over medium-high heat with 1/2 cup water.
2)  Add the broccoli, cover, and cook until it is fork-tender, about 6 to 8 minutes. (Pay attention to the steam coming out of the pan and add a tablespoon or two of water if the pan dries out before the broccoli is done.)
3)  Transfer the broccoli to a serving dish and add the walnuts , oregano, salt and pepper. Toss until well combined.

Review:  This is best served with brown rice to make it a main dish, or made as is for a side dish.
This is a good way of dressing up broccoli, along with being quick and easy.
